well, it would appear that the carwash question has been pretty thoroughly answered. I personally just wash it with my own materials, which is one of the few perks of having a house.
As to the keying, yes, it was probably mine. To my knowledge, there have only been two other mkIV supras that resided in Harrisonburg since I've owned mine, and both of those were owned by the same guy (he sold his white TT, and bought a black one with a single turbo). I bought the car Jan 3 my Sophomore year (which would have been way back in Jan '02) and the car was keyed on the weekend before finals of that same semester. The only panel they didn't get was the targa top and the hood, surprisingly enough.
Apparently, the rear tires were also slashed from the inside, but not enough to actually deflate the tire. As I drove on them (didn't know they were cut) they eventually blew out on me; luckily never while I was on the interstate. I'm not sure how feasible this is, but thats what I was told was most likely to have been the case.
The total repair cost was well over 3 grand, but I was able to get my insurance to take care of most of it and had it back to its original condition by the time I returned for my junior year.
Fuck haters.
