a suggestion when launching...try to drop the clutch when the engine is GAINING revs, and not when it is DROPPING revs. I heard that this lesses then chance of the engine bogging down. What year is the S2K? Does it have the 2.2l? A magazine mentioned that a feathering of the clutch at 3000 rpm was the best technique for fast times. But then you will fry the clutch very quickly.
