i forget the addage, but it's something like 100 pounds is worth a tenth of a second, or was it a mph in the trap speed? something like that.
run lower rear tire pressure, higher front for maximum traction in the back and minimal rolling resistance up front
try to get some wheelspin. it'll keep the clutch from taking the brunt of the slip and will keep your engine in the powerband for the initial launch instead of catching traction and bogging. somewhat like an awd launch.
