at least one thing is good about this group. While we still do benchrace a lot, there is a whole lot of real experience in this club, and almost every member here aspires to get out on track or hit up the autoX course. Most people that join either get converted to this mindset or quickly bail after they realize what they have gotten into.
Matt, before getting to offended, stick around for a bit, give us some input, and learn some of the personalities here. Mike is an ass; he knows it and everybody else does. However, those of us that do road race all realize that in a long enough timeline there will be a wreck. Several have already done this, all learn from each others' mistakes, and we all smile at the end of every weekend because we know shit happens, we're still walking away, and that there's a big support group (MM) at home. We're all here for each other and welcome anybody that is knowledgeable or has the enthusiasm for the sport.
