Whatever hater, I know you think hatch > Porsche wing. Same as your 250 dirt bike = easy as mountain bike Tongue

But yeah nobody's saying he's not a good guy. Just making the objective observation that there is something wrong with his driving that has caused him two crashes. One could blame it on the tires but that would be a copout. Unless he's putting shitty H or lower tires on there pretty much any Z rated tire would be fine for the track. You just have to adjust your driving to stay within the limits of the tire. If the accident were due to tire blowout that'd be a different story.

RJ is one my close friends and I thought he was headed for a crash in his R the way he was driving. Doesn't mean I'm dissing RJ or anything. Even RJ admits he was pushing it too hard for a car he didn't really want to wreck. So for Matt, its not a knock on him. Just an observation. As drivers we always have to be examining and evaluating our mistakes as well as those of others so that we can learn tough lessons the easy way instead of the hard way.

The thing with HPDE's is that if you're driving a street car that you don't want to wreck you shouldn't be driving at 10/10's. If you are flirting with the limit you'd better damned well be able to not step too far over it. If you break both of these rules chances are you are going to have a crash (especially with a very fast car).

Race cars are a little different because if your competition is good you have to be on the edge, otherwise you won't win. Even then a man's got to know his limitations.
