You need to curtail your yayo intake. You're comparing driving a fwd car with almost 1/3 the horsepower. Pushing your car and pushing a GT3 ain't in the same ballpark, it ain't even the same sport!
On the driving a slower car, that's hard to say. If he is overdriving then he doesn't so much need a slower car as a change in attitude/goals. If its just that he doesn't have the sensitivity and precision to flirt with the limit without stepping waaaayyyyy over it (i.e. crashing) then he needs a slower car. I suspect its a combination of both.
Of course, its easy for us to talk from the sideline. I know before I'm done I'll probably have a crash or two on track.
