There was an NA-T mkIV with stock brakes and upgraded pads out at Summit last summer. From what I talked to him, he never had any issues braking. The SC would be a good option; at one time I was seriously considering one so that I'd essentially have a supra, and then another one for the track. Like Rex said, I'm sure you can make the SC weigh the same as the supra very easily.
C4 vette is also a good option. Easy power, pretty fast, can't be too hard to work on, RWD ownz, and then you can say you are driving our father's mid-life car and you aren't even 25
. If you'd consider the vette, don't throw away the fireturd or crapmaro, although I don't think I would compromise for that.
