And the performance gets even better when you put an STi or Evo in its element. Every time I read about another ls1 guy 'dominating' an evo/wrx from a 60mph roll I want to just bitch slap the fuck out of him and ask him if his Camero is ready to run on dirt. Because that is where those cars were meant to compete and out accelerating one from a roll is about as impressive as me out sprinting a marathoner.

In Top Gear's next comparo I'd like them to compare the Evo and STi vs the Viper, Vette, Elise, 997, and F430 on track. Then I'd like them to include an offroad section and see how all of the aforementioned cars do...

If no one had the balls (or money) to do that test, I'd like to see how much of an advantage the AWD bad boys would have in the wet vs. said sports cars. I suspect maybe the F430 could do okay with its advanced traction control system but the Viper and Vette would be at a distinct disadvantage. It'd make for some good viewing though *thumb up*
