personally i went with the red. the guy i bought it from said it added 5-10 more horsepower than the blue.
<2cents> i noticed a huge difference when dropping the stock air box and going to a cone filter. i also went to lowes and got some black pvc piping and made a diffuser/nozzle setup to pipe in outside air closer to the filter.</2cents>
