Considering hitting a gun shop in Harrisonburg sometime next week for some kinda home defense weapon. It's long overdue but the main thing holding me back is I have no idea what to get. Definitely want to stay away from handguns for now. My aim is garbage with them and I won't be carrying anything anytime soon.
Been shooting clay with the neighbor using a Remington 870 my dad gave me a while. That had me considering some kinda shotgun configuration that would work a little better but nothing really beats having a magazine imo.
AR-15 is an obvious choice having as much time with an M4 as I do but pricey. Was leaning towards getting some kind of pistol carbine. Saw the TNW Survival Rifle and really thought that was cool as shit. Being able to swap to 9mm rounds for the range and store it as a .45 is real appealing. It's about the size I'm looking for as I want to hide it in some kinda concealment shelf for sure. So I'm sure this has been discussed to death but I can't really sift through 125 pages. So what else is out there worth considering?
