Yep, a lot of gaming companies have taken large investments from Tencent including Riot Games, Supercell, Discord, Ubisoft, and a bunch of others. I wanna say there are other Chinese companies that have big stakes in some videogame companies. All that money is gonna force some tough choices on those companies sooner or later.
Maybe the HK protests will die down and the issue will go away for awhile, but I feel like China's human rights record has gotten just enough attention recently that the issue won't quite go away. And with the way the regime is now trying to clumsily muzzle foreign companies and citizens they're attracting even more attention to their human rights record.
