H&B'ed twofer comin' atcha. Part 1: Blitz stuff:
The Blitz R348 GT-R. Built for max-speed records, this car was the absolute business back in the day and is/was probably my favorite Skyline to come out of the mad tuner houses of Japan. Really happy to see that it's a perfectly preserved time capsule today, and they do a great job showcasing all the little details and quirks that went into this build. I never fully appreciated how much of a cushy street car this R34 was until this video. More of the Autobahn speed attempt can be seen at the end of this video that also has a ton of other GT-Rs punching air in its stupid face.
Sidenote: Blitz had a fun history of poking German tuners in the eye by shipping their demo cars to Germany to show their mettle. Besides sending the GT-R to Germany to beat the RUF Yellowbird, their 1997 demo car Supra ran a wild-for-the-time 7:49 on the Nurburgring, beating out a Gemballa 911 (and the car's own target 7:53 moniker) and holding the fastest street-registered car title for a few years. They later ran a 7:21 with more power, less weight & slicks.
Part 2: I think this answers the question - "How far can you take a Miata chassis past 11?". Hot damn.
