Is there no Nintendo Switch discussion here? Disclaimer: the last system I owned was SNES.
I’ve also wondered how you grown ass men, with kids, made time for video games. But after a few comments to her about how Zelda: A Link to the Past was dope, my wife came home with a Switch and Breath of the Wild one day. Turns out video games have come a long way.
I may lack an imagination but I can’t think of a better video game. They may improve on the story and challenges but in terms of game mechanics I’m not sure what else they can add. I’ve never wanted to just randomly explore like I do in this game. It’s leagues above anything else I’ve played, on any system.
The Switch itself is a seriously impressive piece of hardware too, horsepower be damned.
I also just gave that SNES thing Rex just posted to my 11/8 year old nephews. They love it, so there’s hope in the world.
