Do you prioritize space / compactness or overall sound quality?

You can put together a really high quality component system for marginally more than a sound bar and it will blow the bar out of the water sound wise, but it’s going to take up more space.

So space isn’t a big deal for me, we’ve got plenty of that. I’m more concerned with making it look clean. I’d rather not have cords laying all across the floor if I can help it. The area between the tv/center channel and where we would put the sub is fine for cords (we have others there), but any others I’ prefer to be wireless or not as intrusive. As for the size of the speakers, etc., that doesn’t really matter so much.
