People that attack your character to win an argument. Was speaking to friend of many years this morning and he said something pretty crass. I made a counterpoint in the most polite way possible and made an argument for both sides.

He then immediately brings up things I've done in the past in a group chat full of my friends. I said I never claimed to be a good person and take responsibility for what I've done in the past and have learned from it. He then starts name calling, so I told him to have a good life, and left the chat. I don't need that negativity.


We have always disagreed and I've disapproved of the way he acts often, but that's friendship, right? I used to think you could change someone's mind and help them be a better person, but all that happens is that they drag you down. It's a shame.

Your level of passive-aggressiveness is on point, right about at the "woman scorned" level. The penultimate status is "homosexual slightly inconvenienced" and I look forward to seeing that level of fury eventually
