I don't see the need for a 2.4 and a 5 SSID, 99% of the time your device will choose the 2.4 because it's stronger, but not faster. It won't switch unless a signal is completely lost.
With this, Google witchcraft keeps you on the strongest fastest connection without the need to switch manually between SSIDs on your device.
Matt, you add your own router by running a cord from the VZ router to your new one and disable the wifi on the VZ router.
