The Switch is awesome and Zelda is definitely one of the best games out right now. Being able to play in in portable mode is money because it's super easy to take on trips or play while wifey is watching something on TV.
Zelda is cool because it's challenging enough to be interesting but not so much that it's frustrating for the first 10-20 hours. Unless you try to fight a Lynel. The exploration element is excellent, it's fun to just climb up mountains to see what you can see (then glide down to something cool you see), or just travel on foot or by horse. The puzzles in the temples are super high quality. They're like old school dungeons but don't usually have enemies in them, just well-designed puzzles. Some of the side quests are pretty interesting if you want to do them.
It doesn't make me want to play through a second time so much, so if one of all is buying a Switch or has a Switch, I can sell you my copy of BOTW.
