The OBS was a 2.5RS Wagon with the 2.2 motor instead. They even had the "WRX/RS" hood with scoop and vents:

Functionally, it's just a neutered version of the wrx just like the 2.5RS, only a hair slower. Compare to my Grail Subie, the Gravel Express:

It's the same Chassis, the GC. You insert the WRX motor just like you would with a 2.5RS, but you get a wagon instead of the coupe. (Or sedan I guess but why.)
Having said that, for 11k just buy one from Japanese Classics do not pass go do not collect $200. It'll be cheaper, more reliable, and worth more long-term than any swap.
