That's also a rough life to live entertaining people every day at terrible hours. It's really turned into pathetic pandering for most people nowadays to get followers and subscribers. It's a lot more aggressive of a space than it used to be and I'm not sure if I would have stuck with it. Plus the people that you interact with are not the kind most people would enjoy. There is more awkward drama there than anywhere. I was one the top 20 or so broadcasters on JTV (now twitch) back in the day. Maybe I'd be a millionaire now :/

Wow that's really cool! I mean who would have known you know, it's so hard to predict those emerging popular trends...because eventually the gravy train does go away.
My buddy was saying aside from declining ad revenue for the smaller players, there's also a lot more pressure (I believe financial) on them to produce more videos every week...something like 3 or 4. That's really difficult considering the amount of hours that goes into thinking up, creating and editing the content. A number of Youtubers actually hired staff when they became big to help out, now they're having a hard time figuring out how they're going to pay them in the future
