Looking at a few chromebooks online, I think I might actually need to touch them in person. One of the major downsides of living in the city is we don't have big box stores when I can go to feel things up.
I think your best bets would be Best Buy, Staples, Office Max, if those are anywhere near you. Cant you just walk into an Amazon warehouse and snag a couple to play around with

I will say there was a bit of a learning curve moving from Windows to Chrome, mostly with the track pad. Also, I didn't realize it until after the fact, but my R13 lacks a Delete button, which is manageable as I only miss it when typing. Not sure if this is specific to the R13 or across the board on chromebooks.
