It's just odd for people to look at new cars in terms of speculation because 1) nobody does it and 2) there's a lot less you can control in terms of more being produced. Don't get butt hurt when demand dictates a company builds more cars when they are still capable of doing so.
That's the allure of classic car investing I think. Only so many were made, in certain option / color combos, etc. and they aren't making them anymore...so the market is going to hinge on other intangibles instead of changing production numbers
