SlimKlim Wrote:Speaking of TVs is anyone running AndroidTV having issues with the Netflix app? I'm getting a persistent "Sorry we could not reach the Netflix service." According to Netflix a good ole unplug-it-and-plug-it-back-in-again should do the trick, but it don't. I've restarted both from the settings menu and by sneaking up on it and yanking the cord out, plus following Netflix's recommendation to leave it unplugged for a minute and to press the power button while unplugged to 'discharge' it, which seems a bit voodoo. Also dug through the settings and forced stopped the Netflix app. TV software and app version are all up to date. Internet connection is good and all the other apps work. :dunno: #myappletvneverdidthis
Warned you - all Smart TV's suck. Android, WebOS, whatever else some TV named it, or otherwise. They just don't get updated applications in time. #myFireTVneverdoesthis
If the error is anything like the one i'd get on my Samsung on WebOS, it was that i had to log out and then back in to netflix. Which, when you don't have a keyboard, is kind of a pain in the ass.
