Got a google home for my parents to play with, but that's only because I'm trying to get them going in the ChromOS and chromecast direction. And it does work great with those, and can stream amazon stuff too. Peronally I wouldn't want either of them but if you're already in the Amazon thingaverse seems like their assistant would make more sense.
