Maybe I should make a group chat with alumni in it. Oh wait, I did and everyone left and was an ass.
Maybe I should just hamper the club by not using a quick and effecient way to communicate to everyone.
I'd love for current students to join, and I plug the forum at least twice a week on the forum, the twitter, or on Facebook as well as meetings, but don't blame the group chat.
Let's face it, Message Boards will never be as they once were. Most everyone who is active here was in high school before Facebook was huge. Nowadays people dont need anything other than Facebook to stay in touch. Yeah, none of the new members know alums, and that's something that happens as the length MM has existed increased. When would any of these people have had a chance to meet any of you this year?
