...and it's outside the top 30 if you only count personal freedoms.
Top 20 ain't bad out of 150 some odd countries, but what I thought was interesting was the US's numbers were being weighed down by the "Rule of Law" category. IE Procedure Justice, Criminal Justice, Civil Justice. So I guess our criminal justice system sucks? But Women's Freedom of Movement and Autonomy of Religious Organizations were both at the top of the scale, along with most of the other categories they were using for that ranking. (see page 44)
Also to note on Page 50, the United States also gets a 10 for Same Sex Relationships. Not sure this study is really countering my point man unless I'm missing something in this novel :dunno:
