You just set up the start date of your new insurance, pay the first premium and then call your other carrier to cancel effective on that date. They will usually send you a prorated premium refund if one is due so that will soften the blow of paying the new policy's premium.I mean I'm hoping to only have two more months until I have the truck. Is it worth the change?
