Like, in this day and age do people really get a Verizon or AT&T $Droidtastic and think "oh yes, I will use AT&T Communicator instead of this button that says Email, and I would love to use VZW Navigator for another $9 per month, never heard of this Google Maps thing before!" and use/pay for the apps?
My only thought on this is maybe older people who are getting their first smart phone and have no idea.
