Mandatory corporate team building events. I come here to work, and for nothing else. I work, they pay, that is as deep as I want my relationship with a company to go. I don't want to make friends, I want to do work, and get my paycheck.
But for fuck's sake, if you are going to hold me hostage to it, why make it a painting class of all things? I guess bowling, the movies, happy hour, karting, paintballing, rock climbing, or that "escape the room" thing have too much universal appeal huh? Yeah let's make it a skill-based, messy activity that only appeals to a very narrow segment of the population. It'd be like if I planned the thing and forced everyone to take a vehicle maintenance lesson. "Ok fuckers, get your overalls on and find an oil filter wrench!"
