Ok, so I did get tires at costco. Mostly painless - ordered online, they arrived at the shop 2 days later. I called when the store opened on Saturday, they told me they were already at a 3+ hour wait, first come first serve, no appointments. So I then ask about Sunday, and they say to come in at 8am, but the shop hours are "10-6". This didnt make sense, but they told me "sometimes they open early". I dont know what the fuck that means, so I get there at 8:30 Sunday morning, and its already a 1-1.5 hour wait - and of course, the tire shop has their hours of 8-6 on the fucking door. Thanks, assholes. And, that 1-1.5 hour wait turned into 2.5 hours.
Oh well. The price on the tires was good and they didnt break my tire pressure sensors. Not sure if I'd do this again or just use the shop within walking distance of my house and order from tire rack.
