The insurance company is raping you to protect themselves from the inevitable payout of getting tangled up with somebody else's property. The prices are derived from crash/payout data on specific cars, not vehicle specs, as evidenced by Evan paying more for a Focus than a Lotus.
Back to the thread topic, with Geico I'm currently paying $1500/year for the WRX, Odyssey, Otter, and F250, including collision coverage on the WRX and van. I'd love to see the truck and WRX be cheaper considering they aren't the cars being driven the most, but oh well.
