I think you're missing the boat here. Swedes build the craziest shit because what else is there to do there? Extra headache? Some people enjoy hand fabricating everything as it seems with the Swedes. Check out some of the Gatbil coverage from Speedhunters. If you see a car with it's original motor, it's odd.
