Langley Speedway in Hampton,VA is freshly paved this season and has a good amount of racing going on throughout the summer. My friend has built an all motor civic (still trying to get him to post the build, it's insane) and is very competitive in Wacky Wednesday. Wacky Wednesday is a weekly race that people run their daily drivers and costs $15 to enter. You do 2 laps for time attack and then pick a race with someone (outside v inside lane) one lap, you either run heads up or car lengths are given as handicap. They run A and B mains and the winners take home some cash monies. I decided to take the bimmer out last Wednesday and did it just for the hell of it. It was a blast but I was really conservative driving since the track is extremely unforgiving haha. It's kind of a tease being out there for two laps, feeling it out, and realizing that slow entry fast exit doesn't apply. I might get out there and try it out again sometime but I'll definitely be around to help my friend with his civic. If anyone's in the area you should check it out. $5 to watch and it's BYOB or buy at the track.They go full redneck and do burnout contests too.
