Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, etc all use GP/GPU acceleration. The CS 5.5 bundle that I bought a year or so ago supported CUDA but not OpenCL.
maybe OpenCL has picked up steam since then, who knows, but CUDA is definitely the bigger fish with more software support.
and besides, you dont need a 12 core xenon to do regular workstation video editing. That machine has got to be for something else entirely, render farms, 4k video post rendering, etc etc.
