So by that logic, if everyone gets a PS4 instead you'll get that?

Yes. I've said all along the reason XBox 360 destroyed the PS3 was the online community. I mean the PS3 was better technically all the way around... how else do you explain the success?

Easy:

A. PS3 was too expensive from the start. When you're 50% more expensive than the competition you're gonna have a tough time moving as many units
B. First mover advantage. 360 came out a year before the PS3
C. System Seller games. 360 had a few more system sellers than the Playstation by the time PS3 dropped (Halo, Gears of War, Forza, etc).

This time around A & B are nullified. Games remains to be seen, I think MSFT may have an edge here depending on what exclusives they have. However, if the XboxOne has all of these DRM limitations and the PS4 does not, it's going to drive a significant portion of the hardcore customer base towards PS4. Casuals may stick with the XboxOne but I don't think casuals are going to take kindly to all of the restrictions either once mom & dad find out that little Jimmy's Xbox won't work over Christmas because there's no internet at Grandma's.
