Honda had a V8 RWD platform in development for Acura, some sort of S2000 successor, and the front-engined V10 GT sports car ready to unveil at Detroit in January of 09, but the bottom fell out of the economy and they cancelled all of those projects.
I'm actually happy they cancelled that big heavy GT but losing the RWD platform and a new S2000 were huge blows.
