It was a fun fast course. Had to knock ALOT of rust off, Me and the Car
. I hadn't been out there since October.
There was a good turnout, and the weather was great. This was a Ptuning sponsored event and they had about 25 FRS/BRZs come out. My goal after seeing times from the first heat was to get a 60.XX second run. Started off with a OC after getting too happy going through a slalom and couldn't recover fast enough to make the last slalom cone. next run was clean at a 62 something. My fastest run of the day was my last at a 59.5. So goal beaten, and I think I may have gotten first in class but we will see. NXE was pretty sparse yesterday, so I am curious to see how I compared to the rest of the field. I think the fastest street car run was a 55ish, in an R comp S2K. There was a Mod car out there, not sure what he ran. Overall a good day, still pleased with the car. I am contemplating stepping up to another set of wheels with Rcomps for next season though.
