Car insurance rates and metaphorical sodomy

homeowners, anyone look at their homeowners insurance rates lately? Mine have gone up 40% in 2 years. With no claims or anything out of the ordinary.

Yup, up 55% this year. We lost the appeal on the fire station mileage (last page). So, escrow is not only taking more for the higher amount, but also making up for the deficit. My "fixed" mortgage went up $242/month. Previous year increase was about 20%.
