I'd think about the spray gun, but i think its going to be too cold this weekend to use one. Also with all the stuff to work around on the garage ceiling, i might as well just roll/brush it. The prep time to spray that will be a pain i think.
the floor:
Im 99% sold on doing a legit tile floor. Sylvia and i have been kick the idea around for a while and when we have space i think she and i can do the floor for $1k and never have to really deal with it again. we plan on building a "3 door concrete floor horse barn" (HOA says it has to be agricultural lol)... this will eventually be home to most of the tools, the motorcycles, etc. so once that is up and running i'll do the floor in the attached garage. until then i'll just treat it like a rental property
