Ended up keeping Geico for my auto insurance after buying the ST. They're who I've had since I started driving, and have treated me well and given me a good rate (IMO).
With the E36 and Miata on liability-only, my 6-month premium was $554. I dropped the E36 and added the ST (with full coverage) and it went up to $724. Considering esurance wanted to charge me double that, I'm happy.
I have two speeding tickets (both about 10 mph over) in the past two years, and one not-at-fault collision in the Miata on my record.
