Ok, is anyone on t-mobile?
Here's why I ask:
I'm real tired of shenanigans. I'm tired of shitty phones and locked bootloaders and vendor-specific UI overlays. I'm committed to android at this point (for better or worse) and I still have some investigation to do on what it would take to exit my contract.
But I *think* what I'd like to do is get with a TDMA carrier (AT&T or T-Mobile) with a nice shiney sim card and then just pay for the next Google Nexus phone that drops. I bought this fucking Droid X2 because I figured Google would (you know, since they *own* motorola handsets) continue to support it with software updates.
NOPE! HOPE YOU LIKE YOUR GINGERBREAD CUZ THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE STUCK WITH.
Needless to say, it sucks ass.
Ugh. I just want a phone and carrier with no shenanigans. No bullshit. I am very attracted to the idea of just yanking a SIM card and putting it in whatever piece of shit phone I buy on craigslist and I'm very attracted to not being beholden to my carrier for what phone I choose to use. (Especially not choosing from their shitty list of the shittiest phones of 2010 they have to offer me)
So...anyone have t-mobile?
