I've softened my hate for Sturm & Ruger, it's mostly relegated to their semi auto rifles and pistols.
Comparing the LCR with the S&W Bodyguard (both in .38) the LCR is a fine revolver, but I was really impressed with the feel and trigger of the Bodyguard. It's definitely worth looking at if you're thinking of something in that series. They're the same size, similarly priced, and both have polymer frames. I really liked the cyl latch on the bodyguard.
