Well, shooting with a suppressor is a lot more polite. It's easier on the ears, (like, A LOT easier) easier on the surroundings, and allows you (in some cases) to run without ear protection, increasing your situational awareness which, when dealing with deadly devices, is always a good thing.
It's why I never understood loud-ass racecars.
