I dont have anything to add other than if you don't exactly want to admit guilt outright you can plead "nolo contendre" (no contest) and still get a chance to plead some of your case..I have gotten tickets lowered before going in with arguments about parallax, multiple vehicles in the field and the radar return from that blah blah blah...got a reduction anyway.
