Yes, if you find a deal online, you can do an "FFL Transfer". Nova Armament only charges 20 dollars for this service.
Is that frowned upon since you're "supposed to support your local dealer"? If it is, I get it; kinda same thing with bicycles.
Kinda. I try to "support my local funstore" whever possible...why not tell them what you want, and what your budget is, and see if they can help you?
