To call someone who is questioning the scales for a 1lb variance a whiner is a bit strong. What do you call someone who protests an illegal car or protests a driver passing under yellow?
I only wanted clarification because of the extreme change in the weight of my car which still hasn't been figured out by me. I have NEVER come in under weight in any of my races (SCCA and NASA) in 5 years of racing and keep very close records of what I add and remove from my car to insure it doesn't happen (including fuel amounts).
That really wasnt' directed at you at all Alan, I know it may not have seemed that way in my poorly worded post. You are far from a whiner and I actually thought you handled yourself really great when you came in under. I was actually thinking of the '99 owners who bitched about impound. So I'm really sorry I offended you. Again, you in my opinion, did everything correctly. You had questions about your weight and you asked them. Though you may not have been happy about the answer you didn't argue, you just went and fixed the problem.
