Really, pick up a history book. Actually, a few of them, starting with the creation of Israel after WW2 and the deals we made with the Arabic states during.
Just so you know, the United Nations created Israel, not the United States.
The politics and "causes" of the situations in that area are alot more complex than even "a history book" will tell you. Alot of what we have now *is* blowback, but it's got more to do with direct interference with sovereign foreign governments than it does support of Israel... the Israeli state is just a talking point for radicals.
