I've always felt this way, and the interviewer/talking head seemed to act like there was something wrong there.
There's a reason "Northern Virginia" is so often referred to separately from the rest of the state, and it's got nothing to do with geography.
Haha, that came off as a "You people???" moment. When the interviewee explained herself it made more sense although it was still a little bit of an awkward way to say it. "I'm just sayin'..."
Yeah, I guess. But she's from Oakton...so she's even saying that she isn't from "Real Virginia".
