She might have done better than expected, but she needed a victory to turn around all the shit that the medias been spreading on her the past few weeks. Even if it isnt all true, doesnt mean it isnt hurting McCain and Palin both.

I see McCain's chance of winning slipping away every day unfortunately. I dont think hes down and out for the count yet, but its not looking as good as it was a couple weeks ago.
