Difference is I'm upgrading after 4 years when I understand how to use all my cameras functions and how they're holding me back. I already take good pictures, so I don't have to worry about that.
Evan, I think Nikon is using the video mode to 1up Canon... or at least try. Of course I'm partial but I think it might work in this market sector. There are a lot of people who think they're professionals taking vacation and family photos that would also like to take HD video. Rather than carry two equipments around, you can just carry this. It goes back to my old thread about wanting a video camera but not wanting to carry both around.
