First, nice work getting out there and making the effort.
The car looks really awesome and the first set of pics are really sharp but there seems to be a composition problem that's leading to the "ok" you're talking about. For the street pics, I know the car is what I'm supposed to be looking at but the composition makes me believe otherwise. The van is distracting, maybe if it was more from the front and the car took up more of the frame. The parking deck pics are better but again that big red concrete block is distracting. I think if you moved the car in the last pic to the big empty space on the left it would be perfect. As is, everything looks cluttered on the right side of the frame.
